From Corporate Executive to Life Coach
Steve Pavlovich began his professional journey in the high-paced world of corporate America. For 30 years, he served in executive leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard, retiring in 2004 as a Vice President and Corporate Officer. He led teams in finance, marketing, and investor relations, earning a reputation for clarity, mentorship, and calm leadership in complex environments.
Even during those years, one of Steve’s greatest joys was mentoring others. That passion for guiding people through challenges would eventually become his life’s second act.
A Calling to Help Others Heal
While working full-time in Silicon Valley, Steve began volunteering at CityTeam Ministries in San Jose, mentoring men in recovery from addiction. He found the experience rewarding—and after retiring from the business world in 2014, he pursued that calling full-time.
He enrolled in the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP), completed over 3,000 hours of practical training, and officially became a state-certified addiction counselor in 2018.
Since then, Steve has worked in
private practice, helping individuals struggling with
substance abuse, addiction, emotional overwhelming worki situations, and life transitions. He integrates therapeutic insight with life coaching tools to provide clients with the support they need to rebuild from the inside out.
Serving Clients in Oregon
In August 2022, Steve relocated to Bend, Oregon, where he received Oregon state certification as an addiction counselor and now works with clients across Bend, OR as well as maintaining trusted client relationships in California.
His approach is not clinical or impersonal—it is human. With an understanding of both high-pressure environments and personal struggle, Steve meets clients exactly where they are, providing insight, encouragement, and steady support.
